Pretty in Pink

Okay, every little girl needs a tutu! It just so happens this one is a hand-me-down from my goddaughter, Carly. I just LOVED this and couldn't wait to put it on her. It's so much fun to wear a tutu on an ordinary day!

July 5 - LEAVE RUSSIA FOR HOME!
July 4 - Meet Vitaly, Julia and Marina at Coffee Mania
July 4 - Registration with Russian Consulate
July 3 - Embassy Interview, Immigration, Visa
July 2 - Leave the Baby Home, fly to Moscow
July 1 - Get Passport
June 30 - Get Adoption and Birth Certificate
June 30 - Court (aka Miracle Day!)
June 27 - See Meg again
June 26 - Arrive in Russia
June 25 - Leave for Russia
June 24 - Receive Visas
June 20 - FedEx another check to the Russian Consulate
June 18 - FedEx first set of Visa Applications
June 12 - Tickets booked
June 11, 2008 8:22 AM - THE CALL from CSS saying our court date has been scheduled for June 30
June 5 - e-mail from CSS confirming receipt and that they were mailing on Friday
June 4 - apostille and UPS Clearances to CSS
June 3 - P/U Police Clearance Letter
May 21 - Give Paperwork to TMH for delivery to Russia
May 20 - Apostille Paperwork for Judge
May 14 - start paperwork for judge for court
May 10 - 5 AM leave hotel for flight, home 21 hours later at 6 PM
May 9 - we say farewell for a little while
May 6 - Committee
May 5 - WE MEET THE M and M
May 4 - land in St. Petersburg at 5:10 PM
May 3- Board Delta flight to Russia
April 23 - Spoke with Russian Consulate, they received the new money order and we can expect the visa documentation on Friday. YEAH!
April 21 - UPS SECOND money order to Russian Consulate
April 17 - FedEx Visa Application
Confirmed Reservation at Hotel Oktyabrskaya
April 16 - Complete Visa applications and submit rental requests to several apartments and one hotel
April 15 - Change in Post Placement wording, apostille and FedEx document to CSS for hand delivery to Russia
April 14 - Flights booked!
April 14 - REGISTERED AND Given Travel Dates!!!!!!!!
April 1 - Dr. Heil gives us the go-ahead on the referral
March 31 - REFERRAL!!!!!
March 24 - We are not registered, but another family is... this is progress!
March 11 - Special registration day, but we aren't registered because DHL sent our POA to Hong Kong
March 10 - Russian Holiday, no registration
March (1 or 2) - Apostille and FedEx POA to CSS to be sent to a traveling family
February 28 - St. Pete requests a different POA for a different representative
February 25 - Russian Holiday, no registration
February 11 - Miss registration because I am just now apostilling extra requested documents
February 6 - Request letter from State, letter from Catholic Charities, additional papers for St. Pete
January 29 - Dossier arrives in St. Petersburg, translated
January 2008 - Apostille all St. Petersburg Documents
January 9 - Dossier reviewed and two or three new documents requested
December 21 - Spoke with CSS, they received our dossier!
December 17 - FedEx'd dossier to CSS
December 17, 2007 - Apostilled about 40 documents
November 2007 - New Homestudy done by Catholic Charities (Julie Bolles ROCKS!)
October 2007 - Switched Agencies, signed with CSS
September 2007 - Received CIS approval
August 2007 - Call to check on CIS approval, am told that CHI did not send my homestudy until late June
June 19th - Picked up Homestudy from CHI
February 5, 2007 - Brian Says YES!!! We're moving forward, officially!
January 2007 - Signed Agency Agreement, paid $300 to make us "official"
December 16, 2006 - Submitted Application to CHI
